Cohen Heating Supply is a family-owned heating supply business that has proudly served contractors and Landlords.
Founded on April 1, 1952 by Joseph H. Cohen, the company began as a small heating supply operation dedicated to providing dependable equipment, parts, and knowledgeable service to the local community.
From the very beginning, Cohen Heating Supply has focused on helping customers find the right products for their heating systems while providing the kind of personal service that only a family-run business can offer.
Cohen Heating Supply originally operated out of 516 Prairie Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island. As the business grew, the company moved to 118 Whipple Street, where it continued serving customers and expanding its inventory of heating equipment and supplies.
In June of 1976, Cohen Heating Supply relocated to its current location at 38 Bath Street in Providence. Joseph H. Cohen operated the business until his untimely death in 1984, where his loving wife, Mrs. Rosella Cohen, ran the business until her passing in 2004. Today, Cohen Heating Supply continues to serve contractors throughout Rhode Island, Eastern Connecticut, and Southern Massachusetts.
Over the decades, the heating industry has evolved, new technologies have emerged, and heating equipment has become more advanced. Through all of these changes, Cohen Heating Supply has remained committed to offering reliable products and honest, knowledgeable service.
Joseph H. Cohen built the business on a foundation of trust, hard work, and dedication to customer service. His commitment to helping customers find the right heating solutions helped establish Cohen Heating Supply as a trusted resource in the region.
After Joseph Cohen’s passing, Allan Cohen continued the family tradition and carried the business forward, maintaining the same values and commitment to customer service that defined the company from the beginning.
Today, Cohen Heating Supply continues to operate with the same focus on personal service, dependable equipment, and building long-term relationships with customers.
